Who we are
|
Team 4500, the Robohounds, is a St. Louis Regional winner and FIRST Robotics Competition team based in Clayton, Missouri, founded in 2013. Our team consists of Clayton High School students, along with our wonderful coaches and mentors who help guide and support us. We are grateful for the support of the Clayton School District, our sponsors, and our community, whose support and resources have made this team possible. Through these external support and partnerships, we have been fortunate to build a strong, competitive team that represents collaboration, innovation, and leadership.

What Is FIRST?
The FIRST Robotics Competition is one of four robotics competition programs organized by FIRST, a 501(c)3 non-profit that advances STEM education. FIRST combines sports-like excitement with real-world engineering challenges, fostering innovation, teamwork, and valuable life skills through hands-on building and programming, guided by mentors and sponsors.
OuR MISSION
Robotics is more than building a competitive robot that can move fast, shoot accurately, and complete tasks. Team 4500 looks forward to expanding STEM education within the community and creating the next generation of thinkers and innovators through the FIRST Robotics Competition.
OUR IMPACT
|
As Robohounds, we are not only grateful for the opportunity to build a robot and compete, but also for the chance to give back to our community. We appreciate the support of community members who take an interest in STEM events and help make them possible. Their encouragement and involvement inspire us to share our passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and motivate us to engage others in meaningful learning experiences. We would not be who we are without the community that we have had the opportunity to impact.

Thank you to our amazing parents!
We would like to extend our appreciation to all of our amazing parents, without whom we could not do all we do. From donations, to snacks, to advice and support, thank you for all you do for the team!
