The Clayton Robohounds, also known as Team 4500, was new to FRC in 2012. Within only eight years, the Robohounds have grown greatly as a team. Our goal is to promote interest in STEM careers and to further student and community knowledge about applied technology. We are looking forward to this 2019-2020 season and wish all of our fellow teams the best of luck.
Over the past eight years, we have grown as a team. The knowledge and skills we have acquired while participating in FIRST are the tools to our success. With 7 seasons of robotics under our belt and a eighth season ahead of us we have used every year to grow and flourish as a team, from our rookie year in 2012, to our first two regional victories in 2014, to our first seed placements in 2015, and to our most innovative robot in 2016. Since our rookie year onward we have sought and succeeded to bring more to our team, our school, and our community. We’ve done this by diversifying our team and bringing more STEM awareness to our community. It hasn’t always been easy, we've had to deal with the loss of senior members of our team, financial constraints, and growing pains with each year, however, we have overcome and become stronger with each successive season as a result.
